Our October meeting was one not to miss! We celebrated our $100,000 mark with cake, we hosted Cleveland columnist and author Regina Brett for a book signing, we heard from Mike Biedenbach from the Golden Age Centers of Greater Cleveland present a very emotional and heartfelt thank you, and Jan Thrope, due to her commitment and tenacity, finally won over support for her charity, Another Chance of Ohio – Janie’s Home. Janie’s Home is a safe haven for families fleeing from domestic violence. This east-side home needed funds to complete work done in the basement and improvements on the third floor. Our group was able to provide Janie’s home with more that $11,675+ matching contributions, to get this work done!
