At our last meeting of the year, though lightly attended, we made great progress! We listened to presentations about three new charities, welcomed five new members and the fishbowl was full! After the presentations we voted to support Cornerstone of Hope presented by member Lynn Robie. The mission of this organization is to provide support, education and hope for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Cornerstone of Hope offers counseling, art therapy, workshops, and support groups and many other resources for those experiencing loss and grief. They also provide resources and educational services for professionals and others in supportive roles such as for staff in school programs. We are delighted to have been able to contribute $14,225 to further their mission.
