For our last meeting of the of 2022 giving season, we learned about three more wonderful charities doing fabulous work in the CLE! Members Lisa Lipker introduced us to Frontline Service, Alane Mastandrea to Urban Bridges dba Envision Cleveland and Gianna Gulasey to Cassidy’s Hope Foundation. This quarter our members voted to support Cassidy’s Hope Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to bring awareness of childhood cancers and how they differ from adult cancers and how they should be treated and researched as such. This foundation was founded by Cassidy’s mother, Pam, who was inspired by her own daughter’s journey with cancer to help make a difference in the lives of other families on their own journey with childhood cancer.
Our contribution of $11,000, plus an additional $5000 contribution from the Schulze Family foundation, will support their various programs, fundraisers and grants to support families dealing with childhood cancer. Please check out all of these wonderful charities and see how others are making such a large impact in support our community.
