Q4 2010: Raising Money for Malachi House

October 21, 2010

The second quarterly meeting of 100+ WWC Cleveland – Metro was a great success due to the many caring women who came out to support our group!  At this meeting we raised $11,000 for Malachi House of greater Cleveland.  Malachi House serves people who are terminally ill, without cost or regard to gender, race, religion or national origin.  The home ministers to those in need of a caregiver, who have limited or no financial resources, and are in need of spiritual, emotional, and physical support.  Malachi House allows the terminally ill to live out their days as happy and as comfortable as possible.  With the help of countless volunteers and donations from organizations in the private sector such as our group, Malachi House, is able to meet the needs and provide a home and comfort for those in our community in their final days.

The other two charities that were presented at the meeting was the Gathering Place, presented by Regina Brett
and St. Agatha-St. Aloysius preschool presented by Katie Holzheimer.  The school needs new windows.
