At our annual Member-Guest night we learned about three great charitable organizations with the winner being Our Village Project presented by an original founding member, Ann Paras. The Project’s mission is to come together as a community to provide nourishing meals and extended care and services to those experiencing cancer. Our Village Project who with the help of a large team of multi-generational volunteers bring hope and joy to cancer patients and their families by preparing and providing healthful meals and extending services (i.e. such as yard clean up, house cleaning, dog walking, running errands, etc.). What once began in the community of Bay Village has expanding to neighboring communities where the Project has now served over 7,000 meals to 65 families. Our donation of $12,600 (plus matching donations) will support the Village Project’s mission to nurture those families. Thank you Ann for sharing Our Village Project with us!
