We had another successful meeting at The Aviator, including a happy hour sponsored by Irene Dooley, one of the original members of our chapter. We also introduced two new members of our leadership team, Erin Barr and Danni Bennett. The two of them have taken over Joey Frebes’ role, who has been such an instrumental leader in this group. Thank you for all you’ve done, Joey!
At this meeting, we learned about Zelie’s Home, presented by Alane Mastandrea; International Women’s Air & Space Museum, presented by Teresa Coyne Andreani; and Safe Families for Children, presented by Juile Mallet. As usual, it was a tough decision, but the organization with the most votes was Safe Families for Children. Safe Families for Children seeks to bring the church and community together to keep children safe and families together and provide a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation.
