At our Summer meeting our membership voted to support Made By Kids, an organization that was presented by Ms’d Milburn. Made By Kids (MBK) is currently a summer program that provides local area youth with fun, structured and skill-based activities, including art, music, drama, dance, sports, martial arts, inter-generational programs and several other activities. With a focus on youth from low to moderate income families, MBK’s mission is to develop and nurture areas of interest, enhance one’s ability to learn and explore, provide opportunities and implement achievable goals, and also embrace an inter-generational connection. Our donation of over $14,200 will be invaluable in helping them purchase supplies and technology.
Also presented at the meeting was America Scores Cleveland by Debi Pence-Meyerberg and Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio by Dani Bennett. Thank you ladies and, everyone, please check out what’s going on with these awesome charities!
