For our July meeting we were successful at incorporating a hybrid model of bringing our members together both in-person and via Zoom. We were introduced to three awesome charitable organizations and are thankful to Gretchen Dupps for presenting the Cleveland Angels, Gail Steward for presenting Malachi Center, and Carol Valley for presenting The Centers for Families and Children.
With voting tallied from both in the room and on-line, members voted to support Cleveland Angels this quarter. The mission statement of the Cleveland Angels is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship. Their vision is to ensure that all members of the foster care community has healthy, affirming, and lasting relationships. Our donation of $11,450 will go a long way in helping them attain their vision.
