The charity chosen at our April meeting was Laura’s Home presented by Linda Uveges. Laura’s Home, a subset of the City Mission, is a “live-in” women and children’s crisis program and center serving the west side of Cleveland. At Laura’s Home, their 3-phase program offers an array of services geared at preparing women and children for positive, productive futures. Our donation of $11,700 (+matching donations) will support the families who complete the program as they prepare to transition into employment and safe, independent housing.
