At our Spring meeting we learned about three wonderful local charities here in the CLE. Our membership voted to support Safe Families for Children presented by member Alana Dennis. The main objectives of Safe Families for Children is to (1) keep children safe during a family crisis such as homelessness, hospitalization, or domestic violence (2) support, and stabilize families in crisis by surrounding them with caring, compassionate community, and (3), reunite families and reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system. Our membership has donated $13,375 so far in support of their mission!
We also learned about Improbable Players presented by Karen Snyder and Brodie’s Good Vibe Tribe presented by Traci Tigue. Thank you Alana, Karen and Traci! Please check out these all of these wonderful organizations!
