For our October meeting we once again met both in person and on Zoom. We heard presentations from three outstanding charitable organizations and are grateful to Donna Baltas for presenting Dec My Room, Theresa Medsker for presenting Women of Hope and Cindy Rios for presenting The Haven Home for whom we voted to support this quarter.
The Haven Home was established as a “family overflow shelter” in 2017 to serve homeless women and their children in Cuyahoga County. The shelter exists to provide temporary emergency shelter until a bed(s) becomes available at a family shelter. Our donation of $11,400 will be vital in supporting this invaluable resource for women and their children in our community.
