We enjoyed our annual Member-Guest night at our July meeting and welcomed nine new members to our group! At the meeting we voted to support the Cleveland Furniture Bank’s “Beds 4 Kids” program. This program provides free brand new beds to kids in need in Northeast Ohio. Their goal is to provide at least 100 warm beds for the holiday season as well as furniture to families in need. The CFB provides furniture to over 3,000 individuals every year and gives away 75% of the furniture they receive to help families rebuild their lives. With the cost of a singe bed being approximately $100 to purchase, our donation of $13,000 will fulfill their annual goal! Thank you Kathy Guzy (with assistance and encouragement from her sister!) for presenting the Cleveland Furniture Bank to our chapter!
